Citygate II / Petite Île
Together with AHA + Elseline Bazin, Korteknie Stuhlmacher Architecten, Sergison Bates architects & Boom Landscape, noAarchitecten has won the competition of Citygate II/Petite Île. The mixed use project consisting of 400 apartments, two schools and 15.000 m2 of economic activities is located in Biestebroeck, an industrial area close to the canal in Brussels. The project is part of the Canal plan and will specifically dwell upon the idea of the productive city, using mixed programs to create lively and productive neighborhoods.
After a 5 year renovation and refurbishment period, the Gruuthusemuseum in Bruges is now open!
Besides works on the interior, the design of furniture and scenography, noA also designed a new entrance pavilion. The pavilion completes the courtyard, in order to restore the situation that was changed around 50 years ago.

Flanders Architectural Review nr. 13
June 7th the Flanders Architectural Review nr. 13, This Is a Mustard Factory was presented at MAD Brussels.

Together with EM2N & Sergison Bates architects noAarchitecten has won the Citroën Yser competition.
noAa is delighted to announce that the project has been unanimously selected as the winner of international competition for the transformation of the former Citroën Yser garage into a new cultural hub in Brussels.
Under the name KANAL – Centre Pompidou, the converted landmark building will bring together a Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, an architecture centre (CIVA Foundation) and public spaces devoted to culture, education and leisure.
The jury of the international architecture competition praised the project as ‘exceptionally well integrated in its context’.
